A mountain house to feel good in, an entire house just for you!

Our mountain lodge in winter

Whether with family, friends or romantically as a couple, our Almchalet Goldbergleiten offers the perfect setting for a wonderful holiday. Three cozy bedrooms with natural wooden furniture in hut style, each with a balcony and a view of the 3,000-meter peaks of the Hohe Tauern, and the peace and quiet of our secluded location ensure a restful night's sleep. Even in midsummer it never gets too hot here - classic summer freshness.

Located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and directly on the hiking trails and mountain bike routes, you can start hiking, mountain tours and MTB rides right from the front door. In midwinter, ski tours and snowshoe hikes are even possible here.

Cabin romance plus chalet comfort

With 3 full bedrooms, a rustic, large farmhouse room with a wood stove and perfect kitchen equipment and an extra reading room, our Alpine chalet offers plenty of space for vacationing and relaxing for up to 6 people. Of course, there is high-speed WiFi in the whole building and a Smart-TV with Netflix and Internet access.

Because we think a mountain holiday should also be a bit of luxury. Luxury for time, space and leisure... Switch off from everyday life, chill out in a deck chair on the large sun terrace, let your mind wander, simply recharge your batteries...

Beautiful bed linen with an Alpine design

You simply sleep better in nice beds. That's why we put great emphasis to Alpine design, warm details and an authentic mountain house feeling throughout the chalet. With us you can feel the peace of nature and the power of the mountains, and if you want, you can sleep with the balcony door open in the summer. Because no car, no noise from any big city will disturb you.

Our mountain summer - more than high alpine climbing

Of course, the majestic Grossglockner, at 3,798 meters the highest mountain in Austria, and the other forty 3,000-meter peaks in our region dominate the landscape and the adventure world in our Hohe Tauern. Mountaineers and high mountain athletes from all over the world come to the Heiligenblut holiday region to experience the magnificent mountain world of the Glockner massif and the rarely visited, mystical Schober group, right in front of our hut door. But you don't have to be a well-trained alpinist to enjoy the wonderful nature of our mountains.

Leisurely hikes through the flowering alpine meadows are also easy to go with children or older guests. You can start hiking directly from our alpine chalet. Or you can use the gondola lifts in Heiigenblut, to the Mölltal Glacier or the Ankogel cable car to effortlessly float up to over 2,500 m in just a few minutes. By the way, it's completely free for you and your family, because we give you the Kärnten Card as an included service! And of course a hearty snack with mountain cheese, house-smoked bacon and alpine butter awaits you up on the mountain...

Directly from the hut there are wonderful walking and hiking trails in the nature of the mountains for you and your four-legged friend, and without any car traffic. We would be happy to advise you personally about which mountain tours in our high mountains can be done with a dog, as this information is rarely found in hiking guides or on the Internet.
